About

inTouch’s Sector and Community unit combines the unique expertise derived from our client services team with a wide scope of dynamic partnerships - transforming organisational and community response to family violence.

Centred and informed by the experiences of victim-survivors and highly responsive to the needs and demands of both the family violence and multicultural sectors, inTouch’s Sector and Community team works in the following key areas:

Training

inTouch offers a comprehensive suite of training that can be tailored to fit the needs of organisations we work with. Our training focuses on subjects relevant to early career practitioners, like intersectionality and culturally responsive practice, through to more complex issues like migration abuse and curated policy discussions informed by collaboration with our expert team.

Capacity Building

inTouch builds the capacity of community organisations, workforces and the broader family violence system to engage in inclusive, safe and accountable response and prevention practices. We do this through needs-based, bespoke projects and programs, community of practice meetings with multicultural services workers and our expert co-case management model, which facilitates organisations working in tandem producing a safe and culturally appropriate outcome for clients.
