Welcome to inTouch Information Session – 24 April 2024

Our bimonthly information sessions provide an opportunity for specialist family violence, community sector and multicultural agency staff to learn about the services that inTouch provides, eligibility criteria and referral pathways. At each session, we will explore a different program and project being undertaken within inTouch, followed by a Q&A session.

Description

Our Welcome to inTouch session for April 2024 will be facilitated by Lyanne Tam, Training and Impact Practitioner, Sector and Community Unit, alongside Amali Boralugoda, Intake Worker.

In this session, we will be discussing inTouch’s specialist case management program, in particular, eligibility requirements, referral pathways and expected outcomes for clients.

In addition, for this month, we will be spotlighting our Learning and Development program. Our Learning and Development program is informed by consultations with inTouch’s case managers, women’s legal centre, NOOR Family Violence Survivor Advocate group, policy and Learning and Development team.

Lyanne will speak to the range of training offerings inTouch provides through Learning and Development, including tailored training to meet specific requests as well as new packages. This is a chance to understand learning and training opportunities to build the capacity of the sector and multicultural organisations to respond to family violence in migrant and refugee communities.
